I founded Thrift 251 in July of 2018 at John Brown University. Thrift 251 is a secondhand clothing store for the sustainably-minded to buy and sell their pre-loved clothing. I started the business in my college townhouse and expanded to a pop-up selling model along with e-commerce. The business created innovative solutions to clothing disposal that reduced waste and minimized the frustration in the process for users.
