Careful Considerations: Time, Creation, Reflection, & Happiness
Each of these topics has demanded my attention, challenged my previous thinking, or simply arrived by circumstance. My hope is that writing will provoke continued meditation on such ideas and invite you all to join me in doing so. This is a bit of a reflection, pieces of current ruminations, and a seed for growth.
Who are the Real Artists
This one’s for all of you creators out there. I want to delve into what it looks like to define yourself as an artist. For those of us that create, we have struggled to know when we can officially call ourselves real artists.
We Live, Therefore We Create
Whether we intend to or not, we create. We create conversations, situations, and we create the framework of our lives. Within the bigger picture, we are still creating.
Women in Entrepreneurship
I want to use my artwork to celebrate female entrepreneurs—something I believe is not done enough. Women are in the start-up world just as much as men but experience way more challenges, including acquiring funding, garnering support, and being taken seriously for no other reason other than gender.
